Code Square Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal data when you use our mobile applications. 

We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales.  For the purpose of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), we are the data controller.  

1. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We collect several types of information, including:

– Identity Data such as your name, username or similar identifier. 

– Contact Data such as your billing address, email address and telephone number.

– Financial Data such as your payment card details when you make in-app purchases. Payment details are securely collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Apple.

– Transaction Data about details of payments to and from you and other details of in-app purchases.

– Technical Data such your internet protocol (IP) address, login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, device information, operating system and other technology on the devices you use to access the App.  

– Profile Data such as your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.  

– Usage Data about how you use our App, products and services.

– Marketing and Communications Data such as your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties.

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical data that we use to improve the App. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not personal data as it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.

2. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA  

We collect data through:

– Direct interactions when you provide it by filling in forms, making requests, or corresponding with us.

– Automated technologies or interactions as you interact with our App, which automatically collects Technical Data and Usage Data. 

– Third parties such as analytics providers and advertising networks.

3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to, most commonly to:

– Provide the App, products and services that you request  

– Manage our relationship and communicate with you

– Make App suggestions and recommendations 

– Personalize App content and user experience

– Administer and protect our business and the App

– Deliver relevant App content and advertisements 

– Use data analytics to improve the App, products/services, marketing, user relationships and experiences

– Process in-app transactions and send related information

– Enable user-to-user communications, per your request

– Comply with legal obligations and enforce our legal rights

4. DISCLOSURES OF PERSONAL DATA

We may share your personal data with:

– Service providers that we engage to support our business and perform functions on our behalf

– Competent law enforcement body, regulatory, government agency, court or other third party where required by law

– Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets  

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS  

Your personal data may be stored and processed outside of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA). Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK or EEA, we implement appropriate safeguards.

We have security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorization. We limit access to personal data to employees and partners who have a business need to know such data.

We retain your personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

– Request correction of inaccurate data. 

– Request erasure of your personal data.

– Object to processing of your personal data.

– Request restriction of processing your personal data.

– Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for use by children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under

13, we will promptly take steps to delete such information.

We keep this Privacy Notice under regular review and will place any updates on this web page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the App prior to the change becoming effective.
